Melinda Atkinson

Melinda has always had a passion to deliver a service that meets her clients needs. Having trained with a national accounting practice she discovered that she most enjoyed working closely with business owners and feels most comfortable working with and advising owner managed and family businesses. She believes in being able to provide clients with access to a wide range of business solutions and is happy to source advice from the leading experts in their field and manage the process in a way that our clients can understand. With Melinda you will find a straight talking no nonsense approach to dealing with real business issues that clients may face but at the same time will look for a range of solutions that are available and will work to develop a long term business relationship for clients investing in our services.

Outside of work Melinda will find any excuse to be outdoors: whether it is playing tennis or maybe a renewed passion for golf or taking an interest in or having a go at any other sport given half a chance. Melinda loves travelling and meeting new people and cultures which include the Caribbean, France , India and Australia.

Beverley Hill 

BSc FCA Audit Director

Beverley established her career working for a national accounting practice where she developed her auditing skills and a specialism in the not for profit and education sector. Her technical knowledge in this area has enabled her to develop a working relationship and understanding of the needs and demands of these clients.

Beverley's life outside of work is mainly taken up with the demands of two small children, although you may find her at the V Festival with small children in tow.

Tracey Kelk 

BSc FCA Director

Tracey has considerable experience of dealing with owner managed and family businesses. She is able to develop a genuine understanding of the problems they face and will work to provide advice and support that may be needed from time to time.

Having taken a career break to look after her two small boys she has now returned to work with enthusiasm. The recent acquisition of a caravan means that she can venture away from home with her family and has managed to take in the exotic locations of West Mersea and Southwold.

Vanessa Rush

ATII AIIT Consultant

Vanessa has worked as a general tax practitioner and partner of a leading UK accounting practice. She has particular experience in corporate mergers and acquisitions, demergers, exit planning and corporate restructuring, remuneration planning including share option schemes and exit strategies, as well as VAT partial exemption schemes, planning for VAT on property transactions and general VAT planning and advice. She also works with corporate finance and private equity houses on structuring a variety of transactions. Vanessa provides positive and clear advice and tax solutions wherever it is required.

Outside of the office Vanessa enjoys walking the dog, knitting, running, and generally keeping things tidy.

Stuart Cumberland

BSc ACA Consultant

Stuart established his career with national accounting practices and has specialist experience in working in and leading Corporate Finance teams and has completed over 150 transactions. He now focuses on delivering financial and strategic solutions to a range of high growth companies and has been a director and involved with a number of AIM quoted companies. His contacts and experience means he can assist and provide a wide range of companies with solutions to maximise and achieve their full market potential.

Outside of the office Stuart enjoys rowing, art, cinema and painting anything he sees.
