Our History
Our practice in Chelmsford is now trading as Lucentum but the office was originally established over 30 years ago by Michael Lambert. His practice soon became Lambert Chapman and we have clients who we have serviced throughout that time.
The practice developed a reputation for delivering sensible business advice to owner managed and family businesses which continued after the founding partners’ retirement.
The practice expanded and benefited from recruiting two partners who had trained with national practices firstly with Melinda Atkinson in 1995 and more recently Beverley Hill in 2004.
In 2009 the Chelmsford office of Lambert Chapman demerged from Lambert Chapman LLP and became Lucentum Limited and Melinda and Beverley along with Tracey Kelk became directors of that company. Lucentum remains committed to being independent and offering owner managed and family businesses the assistance and expertise they may need to run their businesses.
